AirWorks was approved to operate a limited airframe repair station in July 16, 1996. Limited radio and limited accessory ratings were added in March 21, 2000 and December 1, 2000.

AirWorks is authorized to perform work at a place other than the repair station fixed location. Paragraph A004 is a summary of special authorizations and limitations. The FAA eliminated new entrants into the "Repair Station" business in November 2000 by modifying the rules and requirements. AirWorks possesses a unique clause in our certification that authorizes us to "Work away from home". We are the only installers with this authorization.

AirWorks is a certified FAA repair station for avionics, electrical, mechanical and holds every seat type certification.
